Playfulness is an important element, and this longer workshop in a holiday setting offers a greater-than-usual chance to bring the organic learning of Feldenkrais lessons into your daily activities, creating a more powerful situation for new habits to become part of your normal movement repertoire, for change and healing to occur. Whilst this is emphasised in our weekly classes, when you embark on a longer and daily process, you will also find that rather than being even more intense, there will be much more time and space for assimilation and integration. You wil'l be making a big contribution to your 'self-help toolbox'. We will also include some hands-on work with eachother.

 

Venue

The venue is situated two kilometres from the coast up in the hills.
There are several Accommodation options and meals are provided by an excellent Italian cook. Food at the centre is vegetarian. Price varies depending on the accommodation you require but will be in the region of £650 – 800 for seven days’ workshop, accommodation and food. view website >

 

Activities
There are plenty of other activities available.
Perhaps swim in the warm blue sea, laze on one of the nearby beaches,  to meditate,  walk among the olive groves and cypress trees, or enjoy a cafe frappe  or local dish in a nearby restaurant. Sometimes you might dance at the local disco, or you might go mantra singing,try a Gurdieff Sacred Dances class, do some Yoga, or get a massage - all on offer regularly at a nearby resort.

 

Accommodation
You can bring a tent, or you can sleep dormitory style in the hall. The hall has good bathroom facilities kitchen and dining area. You can book a double or single room in the house, each has an attached bathroom. You can be booked in at a hotel the centre has an arrangement with, near the beach. You can rent a car very reasonably, often a few people share one vehicle. Scooters and taxis are also available.

It is about 45 min drive from the airport, transport will be arranged and costs between 20/40 euro

 

Flights
Assuming you’re travelling from Devon, direct flights are very easy with Easyjet from Bristol (‘scuse the pun) I found that in August which is peak season flights were about £300 – and it was only 6 hours, door-to-door!
